For my thesis, I plan on utilizing theories and aesthetics related to the cinematic apparatus, drawing attention to elaborate viewing constructs, illusion and realization, and Lacan's "Mirror Stage".

READING ROOM

Where I would like to be.

This is my book bag from when I first started reading in public school. My class and I were prompted by our teacher to draw our ideal reading spot. Mine appears to be sandwiched between two large monoliths, is equipped with a magma-red furnace and a skylight where the moon and sun are visible. The things that kids come up with! As posts go on, I hope it will be evident that I am still striving towards this personally ancient ideal.
